"Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art."
Whole body massage.
I like to base courses of massage therapy on whole-body massage. It‘s also suitable for one-off sessions, or the monthly maintenance of recovery, and for deep relaxation. Each session is individual and based on a holistic approach to health. This massage gives the body deep rest and relaxation, naturally helping restore health and energy. Individually-chosen techniques and oils encourage communication between body systems, improve metabolism, and encourage natural body wisdom. Lymph unblocking and some sculpting techniques bring a feeling of lightness and have a toning effect on body shape.

Honey massage.
The nutritional and medicinal qualities of honey have been documented in Vedic, Greek, Roman, Christian, Islamic and other texts. Ancient and Ottoman physicians have written about honey’s healing qualities. Honey has powerful anti-bacterial and antiseptic properties; it’s non-toxic, and has strong effects. The benefits of a honey massage can be felt after one treatment; helping to improve vitality and relaxing mind and body.
This massage helps to return fascia and muscles to health, to lose weight, to detoxify, to relax the nervous system, to improve circulation and metabolism, to increase lymph flow, and to loosen fibrous adhesions. It helps with chronic back pain, respiratory problems and colds, and deeply warms the body, as if after a good sauna.

Deep foot massage.
Foot massage has been used for centuries in many cultures to improve health and relaxation. I borrow elements from a variety of practices, such as Shiatsu and Reflexology, which follow the idea that applying pressure to the over 7,000 nerves in the foot releases energetic blockages in the rest of the body. Foot massage and Reflexology are recommended for pain relief, to help alleviate stress and to help with injury recovery.
Before beginning a foot massage, I often invite a foot bath with oils and sea-salt, sometimes with a herbal compress. This helps to relax the body, free the mind from everyday stress and foster a healing space. During the massage, I work deeply through the joints and soft tissues of the feet. If needed, further sessions help correct foot problems, and awaken all the systems of the body.
Foot massage can help to clear blocked energy and improve overall health and balance through encouraging the flow of blood, nutrients and nerve impulses. Other benefits include detoxification, boosting the immune system, increasing circulation, promoting healing, and balancing energy. As well as manipulating the pressure points on the foot, I sometimes work on the hands and ears to trigger relaxation as well.

Bamboo massage.
Bamboo massage incorporates bamboo (which symbolizes life, energy, prosperity, longevity and fertility in Eastern cultures) sticks and stalks of varying lengths and thicknesses to facilitate deep-tissue work. It includes elements of shiatsu. Sticks may sometimes be warmed, and essential oils may be incorporated into the massage.
This massage encourages circulation, lymph unblocking, and provides a deep sense of relaxation and well-being. It‘s a powerfully safe therapy to calm the stresses of daily life, and stimulates circulation, relieves migraine, helps improve sleep quality and respiratory ailments, and lessen arthritic pain - particularly in the neck and shoulders. It improves the functioning of the nervous system, and improves joint and muscle flexibility.
This massage may be considered as a complementary therapy to be used alongside conventional medicine to treat illness and relieve muscle pain; it also has a strong preventative role.

Japanese therapeutic facial massage.
It is a form of Japanese facial massage which aims to rejuvenate the face, preventing and reducing the impact of the aging process.
Massage visibly improves the appearance of the skin, provides brightness and a more uniform tone, removes and prevents wrinkles, reduces eye bags and provides great hydration to the skin.
Massage techniques also includes Shiatsu pressure points, a Japanese therapy that helps restore and balance the body’s energy. Applied to the face, it releases facial and neck muscles, relaxing the tension areas that cause wrinkles, and brings vitality back. After the Japanese therapeutic facial massage session you will feel rested, relaxed, with a clear mind, just as after a deep and restful sleep.
